We "finally" found our vineyard maintenance partner. The vineyard manager of Wilson Creek Winery, Cheo Serrano,  will take care of the vineyard maintenance that we cannot do ourselves. Starting next week with pruning.
Our vineyard has not seen professional vineyard management for years, so this year the vines will be pruned back to 1-2 buds per spur. This will reduce this year's yield, but hopefuly will restore good vine health and will improve the outlook for higher quality production in the coming years.

We have a vinyl ranch fence installed at the front of our vineyard. Looks much better don't you think?

After repair work on the concrete driveway, we had to add soil and plants to avoid erosion on both sides. To keep the newly planted ice plants alive, as we are behind on rainfall, we had irrigation sprinklers installed. Major effort was to run the irrigation pipe under the driveway to support sprinklers on both sides. It looks great. Hugo did a fine job!
